Wow! Free Comic Book Day was a blast this year! I just want everyone who I took pictures of to know that I am trying really hard to get your pictures up on this blog. But over 400 pictures were taken on Saturday so please have patience with me as I sort through all of them and make sure I have at least one good picture of everyone. I should have the next post with all the pictures by the end of this week. Until then, I hope you enjoy this look back at the great cosplay characters that volunteer their time to make your day more fun.

Hey there! These are really great costumes! I love the attention to detail! That must have taken some time to put those all together especially for Spiderman having to make all that webbing for the costume! Kudos for that! If you like, come check out my Transformers costume. Thanks for the comment. Your costume looks great! The creativity that goes into these costumes amazes me. Black Cat and Deadpool kind of caught the costuming bug from Todd last year and make their own costumes. Indiana Jones is a prop maker in his own right and likes to buy from the original companies. He is also one of our AZ Ghostbusters.
I’m pretty much just the seamstress and I help with some of the technical problems, but mainly Todd is the genius behind how things are finished. Over the last three years he went through a lot of silicone rubber casting and re-casting the molds. I think he finally got the formula right. He will be wearing Spiderman for Phoenix Comicon at the end of the month and then that will probably be it.
